OUR CHALLENGE
SGTC is a global Afrocentric brand, that makes unique and Uber stylish Ankara outfits with accents of other specially selected fabrics.
With every piece made in Nigeria, the goal is to infuse culture, the vibrant, colourful and unbreakable spirit of Africa into each carefully crafted piece.
Our team was challenged to build a standard minimalist e-commerce website; one that was particularly easy to use and had a vibrant feel. They also wanted to be able to offer multiple payment option for their international customers.

Built on the WordPress CMS for a better user experience while also incorporating a Woo-commerce functionality to drive online sales.
THE RESULT
EASE OF USE
Ensuring a website is user-friendly can only be achieved through UX research before starting the design. We conducted a thorough workshop with a variety of stakeholders to ensure we had a full picture of who the SGTC users are, and what they need from the site.
Topics included opinions on customer persona development, and user journey mapping.
These findings helped us to structure the navigation and the various page layouts, to ensure users have a seamless shopping experience.
As requested, the SGTC website is Minimalist, Fully optimized for search, mobile responsive
PAYMENT INTEGRATION
We added and activated the Paystack payment method to receive both local and international payments on the site.
FUTURE GOALS
We also continue to support the SGTC team with web management services.
