AQUILA RECORDS is a Nigerian record label but has now grown to have offices in the UK and the US in a bid to bridge international borders with her sound.
Our team was challenged to build a standard minimalist website with key focus on the music and it’s artistes. They also wanted to have an online shop to sell brand merchandise
Used their existing branding in a fresh and minimalist design
Built on the WordPress CMS for a better user experience while also incorporation a Woo commerce store to sell brand merch to fans

Set up the website to be search friendly
Ensuring a website is user-friendly can only be achieved through UX research before starting the design. We conducted a thorough workshop with a variety of stakeholders to ensure we had a full picture of who the Aquila Records users are, and what they need from the site.
Topics included opinions on the previous site, customer persona development, and user journey mapping.
These findings helped us to structure the navigation and informed the various page layouts, to ensure users found the information they needed as soon as possible.
As requested, the Aquila website is Minimalist, Fully optimized for search, mobile responsive and has a shop feature to sell exclusive brand merchandise.
